Reprint of IATF-EID Recommendations to the Office of the President for ECQ in High Risk Areas

REPRINT/REPOST IATF-EID formally recommends to the Office of the President the recommendations of the sub-technical working group on data analytics in toto, the specifics of which are the following: The extension of the Enhanced Community Quarantine in the following high-risk administrative regions, or areas until May 15, 2020: 1. The National Capital Region (NCR); 2. Region III (Central Luzon); 3. Region IV-A (CALABARZON); 4. The Province of Pangasinan 5. The Province of Benguet 6. The Island of Mindoro 7. The Province of Albay; 8. The Island of Catanduanes 9. The Island of Panay; 10. The Island of Cebu; and 11. The Provinces of Davao del Norte, Davao de Oro, and Davao City High-risk areas in Region III include Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija and Pampanga, while the high-risk provinces in Region IV-A are Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal and Quezon. Very Important Repost . This story deserved to be reread, remembered, shared, and reshared for the infinite values of life it unraveled. This story reminds us of 339 physicians and 242 nurses' vulnerabilities who are now infected of COVID19 disease after directly exposing themselves to carriers confined in their facilities. It also reminds us the state of healthcare system in our country and of the marginalized side of the world which had been struggling for decades to get the slice of relevant budget from government's budgetary allocation. COVID19 Important Notes

A. MENTAL HEALTH (Updated) DOH confirms 75 covid positive cases at the National Center for Mental Health (62 employees, 13 psych patients) as of April 19. 5 of them have already recovered. Based on NCMH data meanwhile, there have been at least 8 deaths so far, all psych patients. Of this number, 62 are healthcare workers while 13 are psychiatric patients. Five of the confirmed cases have already recovered, four of whom are staff members while one is a patient. Last week, the department reported that 22 healthcare workers had succumbed to COVID-19 while 339 doctors and 242 nurses tested positive.
